City Ballet takes the health and safety of all of our students very seriously.. To protect our students and their families we have installed advanced ionic filtration systems into the HVAC of each of our studios. Additionally, the following procedures are in place:
Class sizes will be limited to 10-12 students depending on studio size .
Class starting and ending times are staggered to minimize contact in hallways and other shared spaces.
All persons in the building – staff and students – must wear a mask at all times.
Studios will be disinfected between classes.
Parents will be required to drop students off at the doors and cannot enter the building. We will have a greeter at the door to do a health check and see students in.
Students will not be allowed to enter the building until the previous class has exited. All student must leave after their classes have ended.
Common areas such as doorways and bathrooms will be disinfected hourly.
Students will be required to maintain at least 6 feet distance in the studio. Violations of social-distancing measures may result in a child being asked to transfer to virtual classes. Teachers will also maintain at least 6-10 feet distance at all times.
Students with a confirmed case of Covid-19 in their household will not be permitted in class for two weeks, or after ten days with a negative test.
Students who are informed that they have had exposure outside of the home will need to have a negative test prior to returning to classes or isolate for two weeks after exposure.
Students who have no known contact with a person infected with Coronavirus must be fever-free for 24 hours before returning to classes.
We will update our policies as new situations may dictate.
